Living in Harmony with All Life Part 2:
A closer look at the World Peace Diet

In anticipation of Dr Tuttle's upcoming visit to Houston in early December, we are taking a closer look at his work. The World Peace Diet has been called one of the most important books of the 21st century: the foundation of a new society based on the truth of the interconnectedness of all life. It is the first book to make explicit the invisible connections between our culture, our food, and the source of our broad range of problems—and the way to a positive transformation in our individual and collective lives. The World Peace Diet is an award-winning book. If you want to understand the big picture of our culture and why we have the unyielding dilemmas we face, and how we can solve them, this book is for you.

The World Peace Diet, is now available as an Audio Book on CD. It is unabridged and is about 13 1/2 hours long. It is read by Dr. Tuttle with short musical interludes of original piano, and is available now from our website, www.worldpeacediet.org. Available on MP3 & CD.

Dr Tuttle has just created a new website at www.worldpeacediet.net, that is especially designed for discussion about vegetarianism, veganism, and the ideas in The World Peace Diet. There are special groups for sharing recipes, for facilitators and others interested in facilitating courses on The World Peace Diet, and other discussion groups. Anyone can start your own discussion forum as well. The time has come, as we know, to work together more creatively for the awakening of our culture and the healing of our Earth and our relationships with animals and each other.

Dr Tuttle's lecture at the Green Technology Institute's S.O.S. Climate Change International Conference held at the Silver Screen Theater in Hollywood is now available online. The event featured environmentalists and scientists as well as vegan activists and spiritual teachers to help raise consciousness about the connections between sustainability, compassion, and spiritual health.

There are more events and further details on our Tour Schedule, at: willtuttle.com/schedule.htm.

Dr Tuttle has posted a 6-minute musical slideshow called "Our Fellow Mortals" on YouTube -- please sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Dr. Tuttle may be available for speaking engagements to larger groups during his visit to Houston in December. To book, contact him through his website.

Finally, Dr Tuttle send out our free daily "Veg Inspiration For The Day" since May 1st, and getting a lot of positive feedback from people about it. So if you'd like to begin receiving that every morning, you can sign up on The World Peace Diet website: www.worldpeacediet.org

upcoming local events:
We have received the following emails from organizers working to reduce Houston's 90% kill rate at the city Bureau of Animal Control (B.A.R.C.) animal shelters:
Subject: Taking the BARC Battle to City Hall
From: Kelly Cripe (Add as Preferred Sender)
Date: Sun, Oct 05, 2008 9:22 am

Friends,

On Tuesday, October 7 at 1:30 pm, advocates for Houston's animals will once again speak to
Mayor Bill White and City Council to ask that the problems plaguing BARC
be addressed immediately.

Please bring a sign and join other animal advocates, animal lovers and rescuers outside
of City Hall at 12:45 p.m. to demonstrate prior to the meeting. Houston City Hall is located
at 901 Bagby (demonstration on reflecting pool side). Demonstrators will then be present
at the City Council meeting.

It is imperative to the lives of Houston's dogs and cats, that we continue to urge Mayor
Bill White and Houston City Council members to increase funding for BARC and to retain Nathan
Winograd to put Houston on the path to no-kill.

The animals have waited long enough. The time for change is now.

Sincerely,

Kelly Cripe
